arka does not collect personal information.
The links, notes, collections, and cover photos you save are stored only on your device. arka has no server, and the developer cannot access any of it.
When you move to another device, you export and import a backup file yourself. That file is saved only where you choose to put it.
To fetch the title and preview image of a link you saved, arka makes a request to that link’s own server (for example, saving an Instagram post means a request to Instagram). Only the link address is sent. Your notes and anything else you saved are not sent.
arka has no server of its own. Nothing is ever sent to the developer.
arka uses no third-party SDKs and no analytics tools.
arka does not ask for system permissions such as photo library or location access.
When you choose a cover photo, arka uses the system photo picker. That does not reach your whole library — only the one photo you pick is handed to the app.
When you tap the paste button, the operating system tells you about, or asks about, clipboard access. The clipboard is read only at that moment.
On Android, internet access is used to fetch link titles and previews.
Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. A backup file you exported stays where you put it, so delete it yourself if you want it gone.
